Umpire is biased obv. Gave it out last innings when it clearly wasn’t and now giving not outs so England can get benefit of umpires calls.

He's been crap all game especially against India. Bad bad decision. Thats what leg before wicket is for. Blocking the wicket right in front of the stumps. If you not gonna give that, better not give anything all match from the "pavilion end".

In the case of Pope and Crawley, no I don't think they can bat like this. Brook probably can, but it seems to be defeating the purpose of Harry Brook to do so.

manipulating the field, picking up consistent singles and doubles and blocking good deliveries are the real markers of a proper batsman. not how good your booming cover drive looks.
