Tell you what, with us equalling our best test match winning streak of 9 here we only have the 1980s Windies with 11 & the 2000s Aussies who got 16 twice to catch.

Thanks. I searched it into Google and was hoping for it to take me direct to the cricinfo page instead of going via guru. Google only had those 2.

We should get to 10 with the second test. 11 is going to be tough though, since the test after that is India at Eden Gardens. Any chance of arranging a test against Ireland while we're in England?
Arent we playing Pakistan in Pakistan first ?

Will the Saffers keep the same team for the 2nd test, or give the other squad members a run out, ? thoughts anyone,
I suspect they'll give those who didn't play a go. One of the aims of this series was to try out some fringe players, so it seems a bit silly to take such players and not play them.

For the second test I'd give those who didn't get a chance a game :

1.Senokwane
2.De Zorzi
3.Mulder
4.Hamza
5.Pretorius
6.Brevis
7.Verreynne (WK)
8.Bosch
9.Maharaj
10.Subrayen
11.Ngidi

Breetzke deserves another chance though. Will be bad to discard after just one test.

For Zim, this defeat is concerning. Their biggest ever by runs.

They will be getting Taylor back but can he along with Williams, Ervine & Raza carry on a bit into their 40s? Only Brian Bennett of the youngsters looks of this level and more. B Curran is fighting to prove himself.

The keeper averaged 12 in this test batting 7, it may drop lower , that's how bad he looked.

Positive re: Chivanga after not impressing too much in England.
