*Official* South Africa Test Tour of Zimbabwe 2025

Silver Silva

International Vice-Captain
Really pleased for Mulder, he has come in for a lot of stick recently, but a ton and 4 wickets should quieten the critics for a short while, but he should be 6 or 7 not bat at 3,
It's against a Zim bowling attack with very poor spinners and were missing Muzarabani for his 100, does it really prove that he can be no.3 for South Africa?

Dendarii

International Debutant
Who bats 3 if he doesn't is the issue. None of Stubbs or beddingham suited to it either.
Stubbs' record at 3 is actually better than his record at 4 or 5, although it is a small sample size. That doesn't necessarily mean that 3 is where he should be batting, but I don't think you can call trying him a 3 a failed experiment.

I think shuks moving him away from there and placing Mulder there says that atleast in his mind wiaan is the better option.
