Wiaan Mulder since 2024 in Tests:

Batting Average: 47
Bowling Average: 23

The upward curve is slow and there are bigger challenges to come but with there being such belief in him, I don't think it is unreasonable to believe it can keep curving upwards.

Who bats 3 if he doesn't is the issue. None of Stubbs or beddingham suited to it either.

Watching yesterday it struck me how many more modes of dismissal Mulder brought into play compared to Bosch. The ceiling is so high if he can pull off being a 3 but still think he should be at 7.

Can only play what's infront of you. Others faced the same opposition and didn't take their chance.

Stubbs' record at 3 is actually better than his record at 4 or 5, although it is a small sample size. That doesn't necessarily mean that 3 is where he should be batting, but I don't think you can call trying him a 3 a failed experiment.

I think shuks moving him away from there and placing Mulder there says that atleast in his mind wiaan is the better option.

Prince Masvaure makes zero sense in the Zim Test squad, he's 36 years old with a modest FC record , it's these type of selections that hold Zimbabwe back .
