I mean, its fine being in that same grouping as the rest. I’m not sure how the exact numbers will compare for the next cycle, but I expect much the same in terms of tiers, sadly.
When Ireland got test status they invested in their domestic structure, including a proper first class competition but they've not been able to sustain that, so the only professional domestic competitions they have now are limited overs. I think similarly they can't really afford test cricket either.
