There doesn't seem to be any particular reason Jaiswal should be a poor catcher - and he certainly fields in a position where you can't afford poor catchers - but he really is ****ing atrocious

Jaiswal was poor in the slips in the Aus tour as well, dropped an important one in the Melbourne game didn’t he? Great batter but maybe slip fielding isn’t for him.

I think he was wearing tape on his hands too. Clearly not helping his catching so what purpose does it serve.
