Can we not have a separate thread for the Blast? I feel like this should be for the County Championship.

Anyway, decent win for Sussex at Lord's, Coles making up for running out Hughes at the non strikers end with a match winning knock. Robinson again very good with the ball.

I see Worcestershire have an up and coming player called Henry Nicholls playing for their second team this week. Currently 184 not out. Presumbaly he / they feel he needs some practice prior to the County Championship returning on Sunday. Little wonder no one takes the Second XI Championship seriously any more.

--> Lancashire Second XI full substitute: J Chapple for WSA Williams (end of day 2)
--> Lancashire Second XI full substitute: H Mughal for TE Bailey (end of day 2)

Match was Monday to Thursday.
Mohammed played, debuted, for Worcester on Wednesday night.
Sutton and Balderson are in the Lancashire first team squad for Friday's game in Derbyshire. (More than 24 hours after the 2s game finished)
Williams and Bailey will be in the Lancashire first team squad for Sunday's game at Blackpool. (More than 2 days after 2s game finished, 4 days plus after they were substituted) bowled 16 overs combined.

Trying to prove he still belongs in the England setup ;)

In other news, Somerset have been opening with at least one lower-order batsmen for a little while now, and it seems to have gone far better than opening with specialists.
