1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

Every pub I've been to in England has been quite jovial punctuated by bouts of anger. Not an English pub expert by any means, but rarely have I seen unhappy people.

Can't say the same about some other countries.

In other news: good knock from the captain - needs to stay until India have 400. India really do need 450 here given how well its playing already.

Gill's gone T20 mode. Ridiculous confidence from a guy averaging 35
He could take inspiration from Steve Waugh ..

Steve Waugh at 27 was averaging 36 in Test cricket after 46 Tests then became a 50+ avg test player

Shubman Gill is 25 years old and played 32 tests ,just scored a 100 in his first match as captain , plenty of time to correct his record.

This is f***ing pathetic. "Ben and Baz" being too arrogant at the toss again, and we're having our arse handed to us.

Thank **** we retired Jimmy because he's more popular than dumb and dumber, eh? Who knows how bad things would be!

Useless *****
