govinda indian fan

International Regular
Australia included two tests he didn't bowl in and a 1990 series he was a part time bowler.

If you include WSC, which we should, Imran has 66 wickets in 13 tests@23 in his bowling prime from 76 to 80s. Even if you remove WSC he is still taking over 5WPM.

As for India and flat tracks in 87, this isn't even speculation, it was clear at the time India wanted to neutralise him and that series had four featherbed draws and a lottery spin pitch. No pacer did well either side. Worth noting Imran had a great series in India in 79.
Personally not a fan of including wsc in test matches but agree he was injured in 83/84 and past his peak in 89/90

Ambrose never played a test in india and played one test in sl. He might or might not is speculation
I agree it's my own speculation. Which I am basing based on his own skillset and how poorly he did in Pakistan in 1997.

I see him doing well on seamers in Kandy and the odd Indian wicket with uneven bounce but overall with more series both before and after peak I see him around 30 odd averaging in SC.

That victory in sydney where he singlehandedly bowled them to victory made pakistan top three team for next three decades
That changed cricket in SC forever because prior to that it seemed almost a biological impossibility for a SC bowler to be a top speed pacer.
