also provide how many have done it 0 times, iirc it's more than 37.5 times: Botham
4 times: Ashwin
3 times: NA
2 times: Sobers, Mushtaq, Kallis, Shakib, Jadeja
1 time: 20 other cricketers

Also, Hammond scored two hundreds in the match in which he held 10 catches (Glos v Surrey in 1928). Apparently no wicket-keeper has done this, though WR James was close (99 in each innings and 13 dismissals).Yeah it's unique in FC cricket. Two other players have made two hundreds and taken ten wickets in a FC match (though not with two 5-fers) - Bernard Bosanquet, known as the inventor of the googly, in 1905, and Franklyn Stephenson in 1988.

Funny since Porel is regularly a keeper99 in each innings is a rough one.
That Hammond record stood for almost 100 years as most catches by a non-keeper in an FC match until Abishek Porel broke it with 11 in the most recent Ranji season. The record for keepers is a 4 way tie with 12, all occuring this century.
Huh, interesting. Did not know that. Think Saha was the keeper in that match.Funny since Porel is regularly a keeper
Explains. Porel was also India A's back up keeper vs Australia this BGT. Think played one as well, though can be wrong.Huh, interesting. Did not know that. Think Saha was the keeper in that match.
Looking at the scorecard makes me think maybe he had to sub for Saha at some point, with him being part of a run out where the keeper usually might be. (also that runout was by a substitute). Saha definitely kept in the first innings and batted in Bengal’s only innings.Explains. Porel was also India A's back up keeper vs Australia this BGT. Think played one as well, though can be wrong.
Do you have the Scorecard? Let me see if I can recognise the match, I watch a fair few of Bengal, they are my Home team.Looking at the scorecard makes me think maybe he had to sub for Saha at some point, with him being part of a run out where the keeper usually might be. How?The most number of batsmen bowled out in an inning is 9 in test cricket, which happen twice in back to back years (South Africa in 1889 and Australia in 1890). Most batters bowled in a match, however, is 23; which happened in an Australia vs England match in 1887.
The occurence of all 10 batters being caught in an inning happened 94 times in test cricket. Australia achieved the feat 10 times, England 18 times, West Indies 9 times, South Africa 7 times, India 17 times, Pakistan 9 times, Sri Lanka 9 times, Bangladesh twice, and New Zealand 13 times. Most batters caught in a match is 35, which came in the Australia vs India match in Adelaite in 2018.
Most number of ducks in an inning is 6, which happened 8 times. Bangladesh achieved the feat thrice.
You sure this one? As Porel is designated as keeper. Btw, I remember this match. Watch quite a fair bit. But don't remember who kept.....
Hmm interesting. The cricinfo scorecard claims Porel as keeper. The cricketarchive scorecard claims Saha as keeper
I assume it means that there were 23 bowled dismissals in the match, not that 23 different batsman were out bowled. How?
I totally forgot that 2nd innings exists......I assume it means that there were 23 bowled dismissals in the match, not that 23 different batsman were out bowled.
