Why is Chanderpaul overrated? His numbers are quite fine (Not on AB's level definitely but still good).

He hid at 5 all his career, his runoutput is **** (40.9 without minnows, less than Gayle), extremely selfish player and made a name out of just Flat track bullying and farming not outs specifically to increase his average.

Just because I don’t participate too much on players comparison, I don’t view either of these guys as overrated.

It’s just that we have a high ceiling for them that which ultimately becomes automatic in assessing them.

When I was younger, there were 3 guys on my shortlist to bat for my life… Lara, Hooper, and Shiv

Of course. Majority of those runs were at home and then some Bangladesh bashing to accompany it. Remove the not outs and minnow bashing and it comes down to 45.
