Yes but it's kinda simple maths. A top bat still needs more contributions from other bats on average to set up the game. A top bowler taking for e.g. half the wickets in a innings has a bigger individual impact by default and is easier to set aside as a matchwinner since that is their role.

I think all of the Fab Four are in the same situation as Kohli. They won’t be dropped while they’re available, no matter what. Similar to Tendulkar and Ponting a decade ago. Its just how it works.

Actually I think Australia plays an extra one this year unless I’ve missed something.

No, all I admitted is that bowlers are more naturally 'matchwinning' than batsmen.

However, relative to other bats who he was being compared with, Vivs playing style had more impact on matches. However, I rarely if ever call Viv a 'matchwinning' batsman since whatever the bats impact, it isn't as decisive as bowlers. That title is problematic.

This isn't particularly hard to understand, I'm sorry to say. You seem vested in finding the least credible interpretation of my statements.
