What reason is there for rating Anderson higher? Walsh was better in all conditions and also had more impressive longevity/workloads.
Anderson still played 50 more intl games as a pacer so that can account for some stat difference.

Anderson had a tougher bowling era therefore their overall numbers should be seen as closer. In fact Anderson still ended up with a better SR interestingly.

We make that adjustment for Steyn, why not Anderson?

Walsh had far better bowling support to hide behind for half of his career.

Also Anderson had a key role in more victories in series and tests than Walsh, at least that I remember.

Also everyone is obsessed with Walsh away but the flip side is that Walsh at home was slightly sub world class level whereas Anderson at home was a bit better, and it's not like he had greentops served to him everytime.

Walsh always wins this one comfortably which I endorse. Away from here, I know people who rate Anderson above Walsh despite hating England almost as much as Fuller does. Thus, to suggest anyone who has that opinion is a parochial England fan is probably a reach.

I thought Ataraxia was an NZ fan. Could be wrong. Could be a joke/satire vote but if that's the case, a margin of 17-4 would emphasise my point that this is a pretty hopeless example of English supremacy attitudes at play.
