When you look back at moments of abject sporting shame for your country, Australia obviously has very few compared with most countries but one is definitely losing that ODI to Bangladesh before the 2005 Ashes. Up there with losing home series to India as a point of national disgrace.

Been really impressed with how we've rotated our pacers this tourney. Selectors have shown a ton of faith in Ellis and played Cummins on the perfect decks for his cutters.

Do Bangladesh have noone better? I like him but he's been abject for ages.
Mushfiqur even at his old age would have been choice, especially going over the top during the PP.

Sarkar is better vs pace too but is clueless vs spin.

In the ODI world cup Mehidy opened, I wouldn't have minded selecting him.

Tanzid probably isn't ready for international cricket but they have to persistent with him.

Also the running between the wickets for Bangladesh was poor. No sense of urgency, just really pathetic.

Bangladesh really need a Dave Warner in their side. That type of leader to give a kick up their arses, even cheat.

I really like Rishad. He's the polar opposite of what bangladesh usually produce. Legspinner who can wack the ball.
