Despite his downs skiing in a flat era; Yousuf still averages 10 runs more than Pujara. That's a big no. Imo. Pujara also wasn't much special away except Australia (though he had some tough home conditions in which he excelled in).

Actually 8.69 but yeah still a big number that needs a hell of a lot of context to overhaul. Pujara certainly has a good amount, but that much feels a bit much.

That's why I felt this comparison is interesting because Pujara seems instinctively more quality but Yousuf averages much more.

I biasedly went with Pujara because of how monumental he was in Aus and what that rivalry has meant to Indian cricket generally. Yousuf's probably the better batsman though.
