What is the greatest batsmen/bowler duel of all-time?

Obviously this is a bit subjective but what is the best ever passage of play of a batsman combatting a bowler in terms of quality, drama and aesthetics?

There was a wonderful contest between a peak Wasim and peak Lara in the final of the Carlton United Series in 96. Wasim trapped him on the pads thrice, Lara hit a streaky boundary, but then that was it, but it sticks in the memory.

In terms of greatest though, Sachin/Warne in the 1st test of the 97 series and Atherton/Donald have to be up there.

Michael Clarke vs Dale Steyn

Extremely underrated contest that had numerous back and forth duels between the two and a good bit of sledging aswell.
Clarke never won a test series vs SA at home ,
Steyn never won a test series vs Australia at home.Both faced each other near the peak of their powers , Clarke vs 2008 Steyn , Steyn vs 2012 Clarke .
Steyn got Clarke 9 times , but Clarke averaged 67 against South Africa
Steyn MCG 2008 10fer , Clarke was in that game ..
Clarke back to back double hundreds , Steyn bowled a lot in that performance..
There was the 49 all out Test in Newlands which Clarke made a memorable 100 ..
Dale Steyn's reverse swinging masterclass in 2014 ..
My favorite outswinger of all time in 2012 that got Clarke out ..

Just a quality, quality contest with a lot of great performances for each player ..

Oh here's that delivery again ..
