Assuming Murali/Warne are too close to call and are grouped together, where would you put them in the ATG bowler list relative to ATG pacers?

For me, definitely below Marshall, McGrath, Hadlee, Steyn, Ambrose. Whether they are ahead of or behind Imran varies, but anywhere between 6th and 8th.

Imran vs. WI should give him the notch ahead of Warne/Murali.
Imran is the 4th best of all time, only behind Marshall/Mcgrath/Hadlee. Barely has a hole in his record(much lesser than Murali and Warne atleast). Figures in Aus only look decent-ish cause of the last tour where he played primarily as a bat. Otherwise took 40 wickets in 8 games and then add the Packer games. ATG performances against WI(48 wickets in 8 matches!), great on dead SC tracks, great in Eng etc.

Murali and Warne have bigger holes in their records than all of the top 6 pacers. So below them
That's my opinion as well. My ranking:

Top tier pacers - near flawless records
Second tier pacer - well-rounded records
Greatest spinners - amazingly productive with big holes
Third tier pacers - great records with gaps

Yep Imran, Steyn and Ambrose can a bit too close to call. I just chose Imran cause he doesn’t have a big gap anywhere(Aus performance is pulled down by the last tour, where he played as a batter more than a bowler), and cause he was incredible on those flat wickets in SC. Ambrose didn’t bowl much in the SC, and Steyn has a minor hole in his record in Eng.
