This games gonna be like Michael Clarke Vs india but instead it’s root trying to get the last wickets in bad light the last session of day 5

Good session from Oz today, although the pitch is still playing pretty well and the ball had gone soft.

With the forecast tomorrow, its hard to see an England win now.

The weather hasn't done us any favours but we haven't helped ourselves with our slow over rate. We knew the test would be shortened but only bowled 80 over on day 1. Even today we bowled 11 overs in the first hour - we should have been races through the overs to give ourselves the best possible chance.

Its just five wickets. You can go bang bang bang with the new ball and they are 8 down

All the more annoying what Marnus was doing. Hard to be critical at a bloke who dragged it to this point but trying to guide a part time spinner when there is a slip in place and only 3 overs left for the day FFS

Hopefully we can get 2-3 hours tomorrow. If we do and Oz hold on, take it on the chin and look to tie the series at The Oval. But if we get on and get an early breakthrough you’d back us to get the job done.
