He'll of played New Zealand prior to the Ashes as will have Lyth. Who came in as the replacement opener for Lyth would be the debutant at a guess.

Vince/Hales would be my guess can't remember which way round they were.

Was that not his debut series? I thought it was but couldn't remember the bloke's name.
Debut was Bangladesh in 2010 which I don't remember the test.

But after reading that recall the talk about him getting his chance again in the Ashes.

Harshly dropped for me, thought he stood up relatively well. Was the best bat after Stokes for me.

Yeah, I cheated after my previous post as I'd completely forgotten about the Bangladesh test too.
