think it was Styris or Deano on the dugout who called the 18th over the most important in a T20 and that the team’s best bowler should bowl it always. We had Pandya bowling that and conceding a six and a four after Arshdeep bowled well

And well deserved loss for us. I know chasing is far easier here but we are not playing our best combinations and we are paying for it.
If Hooda is not gonna bowl, DK is a far better choice as a specialist #7. If Pant needs to play, he needs to open. And Chahal is still somehwo our best T20 spinner and yet he is such a liability on the field and with the bat. I would rather groom Bishnoi.

bhuvi, arshdeep wont make it to a top tier team anywhere but India. No offense but when you still feel chahal is the best t20 bowler for us i dont have any hopes of the selectors picking the right players. after all the selectors will act and think just like the rest of India who still feel chahal is absolved of his crime of a bowling.
Some time back there were discussions going on with one side hyping IPL to the moon and the other calling it an overrated talentless league, the obsession with IPL is weird there.
this bhuvi guy has been with the team for what? 6 years now or whatever. if he still needs to learn how to bowl and his fans are ok with India loosing games when he learns god save us. also chahal is an absolute tool. im done targeting him cause it is so obvious that that lad will be bullied into submission everytime he bowls, bats or fields.
i mean the loss does hurt, but whats more disappointing is the attitude of fans like you who turn a blind eye and who still believe that team India is good. Lets all take a stepback and be honest- with all the funding, years and talent pool (maybe that talent pool is just full of duds like chahal) you would have to create atleast one world beater team like Aus of 2003. but here we are fighting for scraps with smaller countries.
