I think it's just a code of behaviour thing

reading the PCs now it seems like they ask the 3rd umpire to update the over-rate every 30 mins, so whether they're ahead/behind should already factor in good cause. Pretty cool.

NZ a bit outmanned with KW not at his best and Pakistan completely switched on, don’t think there’s a lot they could’ve done about that though would save Neesham and perhaps even Mitchell for the lower order, given that none of the others seem capable of taking off from ball one.
