One thing that's made this series closer than it should've been is Australia's inability to clear the tail. England have been ****e at downhill skiing too. Gave away winning positions in the first 2 tests.

IMO that had more to do with Stokes being on fire than anything else. I guess Lord's counts a bit but even that was mostly Woakes/Bairstow IIRC.
