Bucknor had a pretty bloody good year on the whole, actually. Was well into the 90%s as to how many decisions he got correct. I think he would've one it if not for the World Cup final fiasco...
Exactly ...I really don't know which mandarin at the ICC comes out with this ...and how they make this call...I have seen Taufel make some shocking decisions...Dar and Bowden are number 1 from what I have seen. Taufel comes a close second behind them..

Not really, there's plenty of young Umpires around at the moment, Taufel, and Dar too really, are just better at the job than the rest.
Bowden's usually good when he's not in games involving Australia.
Actually where are the Indian umpires on the elite panel, so we can all make cries of bias and outrage when they make mistakes (which all umpires do), even if any sensible person can tell that being an umpire is just a (explitative deleted so as not to possbily racially offend anyone but I bet you can guess the common Australian one I was going to use) of a job where even the best can have poor days.
