Only got the one wicket, by my only reserve bowler, who's going on the Transfer Market tomorrow, and I don't even like him.

Day One

Brackenhurst - 464/3 dec off 79 overs

Burnip 130 (167)
Browne 68* (49)
Hindle 65 (86)

Not too dissapointed. Will need early wickets tomorrow. Their middle and lower orders are pretty poor. Just need these blokes. :)

0/328 at the end of play. Need to bat all of tomorrow.

The feeble stamina bowler who had a 31 over spell only went down to energetic

Cawood 31 28 7 9 1 1

What a gun, he's opening the bowling in all my FC games from now on.

Hahaha what a gun.

Good hit out for the boys today

Magical Ponies 4/437
Kilkenny 111 (171), Farmer 91 (136), Griffin 66 (56), Nomvete 63* (166), Baker 63* (134).

Surprised that Baker, a comp/abys/woe bat could bat for that long tbh. Will probably declare at about 600 tomorrow, and try and bowl them out quickly to go for the win on the last day.

Not a bad result at the end of the day...playing the team coming first, and lost a wicket first ball. Ended up declaring at 702 for 2 off the last ball of the day. Farrell in a brilliant performance, and Nkosinathi's 286 off 233 balls wasn't bad either. Probably would have given him the chance to get 300 if I had the choice...but then the pitch is hard and fast so I may need as much time as possible to get them out.

18 year old Ryan made 208* off 172 balls as we made 3-456 in 55 overs against the bot after bowling them out for 62. Should be over by lunch tomorrow.

I reckon captains just get massively over excited by economically pleasing bowlers, so if you're against a bot on very defensive and bowling maiden after maiden, you can do no wrong. It's a bit silly. Hopefully the bots having their pfl set to fresh after this week will help with that a bit.

I have a massive two weeks ahead. I'm in 4th in both leagues at the moment. I'm playing Jacksons Giants in FC this week (3rd place). They have some gun players but only have a squad of 15 and all their good players are struggling on pfl, so much so that their bowler ratings at the moment are abysmal/worthless. Should win with ease, but I've still seen good players with bad pfl posing a threat. We shall see.

Then on Friday, I have We Hate Man U, who are 5th in the league and very evenly matched with me. Going to GFI that one. Jacksons Giants again in FC next week, and then a game against Coatham Sloggers who are in 3rd in OD cricket. They beat me by 10 runs on the opening day of the season when I TIE'd. Should have a much better idea of where I'm going to finish after the next fortnight.

Meanwhile, it's my first FC game at home since the stadium expansion so I'm looking to bring in some decent money. Woods and Kepler are playing so hopefully they can make a big impact on the game. University annoyingly getting in the way today so may only be able to check once or twice throughout the day. Real life is a pain in my arse.

Hopefully we have enough batting left to get full batting points. Then I will try and roll them again and finish around tea time, hopefully earlier.
