One of our moderators got a job at play.com partly as a result of his work moderating the site. I even wrote him a reference

I don't think I've put it on my CV, but I've made reference to EoFF in (successful) job interviews. It all depends on what area you're looking into getting a job in.

It's hard enough to cram it all in anyway and running a forum isn't really relevant to my career. Just a hobby

On a recent application for a training position, I wrote "..and I have written for websites." Or something like that

James has every right to keep the cash as far as I'm concerned. There's no obligation to give it to employees or to charities.

I'm pretty sure I've read James say that there is no profit over and above running costs and reinvestment. We certainly find that to be the case at PC!

He knows what we're like to work with. He doesn't know our backgrounds, histories etc - at least not all of us. There's a fair few of us, you know.
