VVS Laxman, Chris Harris, Abdul Razzaq

ive noticed a lot of talk about chris harris and how he should be in the nz squad which is surprising to me. i thought he was well passed his day given his age and how long hes been out of the side. and didnt think he has been in any real form either. just my opinion.

I've seen people in worse form, personally.

I've also seen infinately inferior bowlers, plenty of them.

Harris has always been in excellent form, he's one of the best domestic performers ever in NZ.

sorry i had a look and he has been in quite good form this season...BUT to bring him in for a pace bowler wouldnt make sense for one. then given his age and the fact he wont be playin for much longer means if nz picked him they'd really be taking a backwards step for nz cricket IMO.

It's the world cup! The future doesn't matter right now, this IS the future we've been planning for. We need the very best players RIGHT NOW.

Amazes me that people can talk about "the future" and "taking a backward step" when a World Cup starts tomorrow...

well the bottom line is to pick chris harris for a pace bowler just doesnt make sense. especially when nz already have enough batsmen and enough slow bowlers in the squad. and it also wouldnt make sense to pick him given they havent bothered to pick him in the last 2 or 3 years.

how does talkin about taking a backwards step amaze you. taking a backwards step is the last thing a team would want to do a day out from the world cup.

No, with the only thing of any importance a day away you can pick any player and it WILL NEVER BE A BACKWARD STEP.
