Sami out caught behind off Ntini. Ntini get his 5-fer and 300 test wickets. Congrats to him. Pakistan 166/7

Shoaib gone! Pak 8 down. Lead is at 60 right now. A bit disapointed in Inzi. He didn't do enough to keep the strike IMO. Exposed Akhter way too many times.

Sounds like Kallis is getting up a head of steam, he was military medium last time he was in England IIRC!

I don't think SA will be too fussed with being behind anything less that 80.

Kaneria gone. Pak lose their 9th wicket. At one point with Inzi and Sami looking good out there, a lead of 100 looked possible. Not likely to even reach 80 now...

Inzi took a single off the 2nd ball in the over to expose Kaneria. For a man who's guided Pak to victory many a times with only tail-enders to support him, Inzi's done a terrible job of it this game.

I'm not watching it or even listening but based on Cricinfo live scoring, he seems to be struggling for form/fluency. Maybe that's a reason why? It doesn't explain the taking a single on the 2nd ball but it might explain why he's not doing such a great job at the moment?

Well with the last remaining wicket, the sense of responsibility has returned. Inzi is doing a nice job of protecting Asif.

Say what you like about Inzy (and everybody does) but there aren't many better in this type of situation. If I had to pick any batsman in international cricket to defiantly carry a tail when needed, he'd be the man. Been doing the job perfectly the last five or six overs.

Yup, couldn't do it better. He's made up for exposing Kaneria and Shoaib earlier in the innings.

Lunch.

Inzi with an edged 4 off the last ball before lunch. Asif on strike after the break.

99 run lead!

Inning could be over first ball of the next session. Inzamam looked very disappointed at the boundary on the last ball.
True. Asking a lot of Asif to survive the whole over. Can we get that one additional run to have the psychologically important 100 run lead?
