Wayne Grady wants job of making Royal Pines fierce | The Courier-Mail

Missed that Royal Pines has been granted rights to stage Oz PGA

Lovely course but bloody easy and they will need to spend the $5 million in planned upgrades very wisely to make it challenging for pros

Yeah he is really obsessed with him. Its odd. It actually takes away from Scott's victory.

Having said that, he's just milking it for all it is. He predicted that Tiger winning would not be inspirational as he is a dick and that Scott winning would be better. And then at the Masters Tiger acts like a dick (or at the very least controversially) and Scott wins. Very rarely does the universe work for you like that.

The strangest part about it is that he obviously knows very little about golf but still has this obsession with Tiger for whatever reason and makes one outrageous comment about him after another

Take his claim that Tiger cheated - the only people claiming that are those with a massive axe to grind

He also claimed that paying more than $25 for a circus act (Tiger) to appear at the Oz Open a couple of years ago was too much.

Never mind that the tournament was broadcast live around the world for the first time in years principally because Tiger was playing and his fee was therefore repaid many, many times over in the form of advertising Sydney/Australia to the world over 4 days

He has totally lost the plot on this one

Fitzsimmons has always been a biased dribbler with a loud mouth and an axe to grind. Can't stand him.

Wonder how much truth there is to the conversation reported by Nicklaus?

I'm not the biggest Tiger fan after the last few years myself, and he does come across as a bit of a tool at times, so it'd be interesting to know if that's the extent of his relationship with Nicklaus.
