His game commentary is average, as an analyst he has few peers.

Yeah that segment (generally the last 20) when he analyses the gameplay is great viewing, but when you've got a whole 1 hour TV show dedicated to that as AFL Insider is, its probably unnecessary. People who sit on the couch need to contribute more-so than tactical analysis.

I don't mind Roos, but I agree Hird was better. But we all know that Robert Walls will forever leave a void on that couch:

Yes, Chris Judd is a good player... I like him.

I find it difficult to listen toA Lynch struggle to put sentences together for an hour. A new host and the show would be much better.

I just disnt rate hird as i cant think of any major contribution Hird made to the understanding of modern footy, the proof is in the pudding with his coaching. He lacked a proper understanding of how not to manage a playing group? How to run a pre-season? An organisation. Walls and Roos have this experience which I think adds strength to their points. No doubt Hird is a great bloke and all that.

Haha Lynch really can't speak can he? Its amazing.

Walls added more than Roos and Hird because he was willing to pot people every show, particularly Essendon.

Kept suggesting that Gerard and Mike have a go in the ruck though.

I always wanted Blighty to make an appearance On The Couch to discuss the 3 host rule.

Blighty was on the original On the Couch, better known as Talking Footy.

Yeah and Robert Walls was a guest when he coached Richmond.

Best Talking Footy moment was Walls (as a host) vs. Sheedy.

Vicious.

James Hird ran a very successful sports marketing company. Your talk of him not knowing how to run an organisation is way off.
