Yeah that segment (generally the last 20) when he analyses the gameplay is great viewing, but when you've got a whole 1 hour TV show dedicated to that as AFL Insider is, its probably unnecessary. People who sit on the couch need to contribute more-so than tactical analysis.
I don't mind Roos, but I agree Hird was better. But we all know that Robert Walls will forever leave a void on that couch: ![]() Yes, Chris Judd is a good player... I like him. |

I find it difficult to listen toA Lynch struggle to put sentences together for an hour. A new host and the show would be much better.
I just disnt rate hird as i cant think of any major contribution Hird made to the understanding of modern footy, the proof is in the pudding with his coaching. He lacked a proper understanding of how not to manage a playing group? How to run a pre-season? An organisation. Walls and Roos have this experience which I think adds strength to their points. No doubt Hird is a great bloke and all that. Last edited by Redbacks; 18-03-2013 at 08:58 PM. |

Kept suggesting that Gerard and Mike have a go in the ruck though.

Yeah and Robert Walls was a guest when he coached Richmond.
Best Talking Footy moment was Walls (as a host) vs. Sheedy. http://youtu.be/rEVGppgjKRc Vicious. Last edited by Jono; 18-03-2013 at 10:49 PM. |
