Also, for those wondering why the 6 year legacy of the all-time great AFL Dream Team "The Golden Boys" has experienced a name change, it's because my best mate has decided to be a retard and name his team "The Golden Boyz". Son of a bitch.
So I'll now be known as "Green Book", because whatever happens, I'm winning anyway![]()

Your name is too **** for someone to copy though.
He just doesn't get it. He says that he doesn't have a problem with poker specifically, or he's not technically an alcoholic etc., but he's incredibly naive about his problems.
Unfortunately for his sake he's a stupid man who still hasn't figured out that his problems won't go away just by letting them play out in the media, because the treatment he gets from the public always paints him into a corner. I think that's why he deflects criticism such as his problem with alcohol. Whether you're an alcoholic or an occasional binge drinker, you have a problem. His gambling is exactly the same, but the evidence suggests the penny hasn't dropped for him yet.
I don't know how the right solution could be anything other than getting right away from the world of football, stop being 'Brendan Fevola' for a while and focus on getting himself back together. I can appreciate that playing footy might be good for his recovery but it's clear that he's not going to be left alone be it in the VFL or anywhere else - and it really can't be helping.
'Copperfield,' said Mr. Micawber, 'farewell! Every happiness and prosperity! If, in the progress of revolving years, I could persuade myself that my blighted destiny had been a warning to you, I should feel that I had not occupied another man's place in existence altogether in vain.
- Wilkins Micawber
Get a haircut Pendlebury you punce.
Not sure what was better. Essendon losing to shut their fans up, or Essendon winning resulting in ridiculous hype allowing me to see the faces of their supporters once they realise they still have a **** list with a game plan that won't work too well with interchange restrictions.
They still rely on incredible pace. Otherwise that midfield is still lacking in depth. Interchanges will hurt them.
Tbf I only watched the St Kilda game, but I don't think their game plan in that was too different to how they have beat St Kilda in the past. Run them off their feet because the Saints can be slow.
That'll be less effective this season.
Just read an article on KHunt that gave him pretty big wraps as an AFL player. Ablett reported as being sold.
Has anyone seen him in action to confirm or deny this?
- As featured in The Independent.
"This is not the time for namby-pamby promising youngsters who might just do something; not the time for building for the future. Pragmatism rules and they don't come more pragmatic than Rogers."
- Victor Marks makes the case for stiff-legged and stiff-armed 35 year old left-handers in Ashes squads
Can confirm Ablett is a pretty good player.
But seriously, in my view there have been bits of play where KHunt looks like he could genuinely be a good footy player by either reading the play or setting it up, but that's always going to be his issue rather than the physical stuff. Most of the time he just looks lost, and I haven't seen much to say he's improved on his output in the VFL last year.
Talk around in the coaching circles is that Folau is progressing much faster than Hunt has ever done.
Are GWS playing VFL or something this year? or am I dreaming?
