Australian Cricket League Draft
The Australian Cricket League will kick off with the Season One draft. All CEOs will have four rounds to select from the 25 Contracted Australian Players. The remaining Contracted Player will be released into the Domestic players draft which will consist of 11 rounds. Upon the completion of the Domestic Players draft CEOs will have two rounds to select from a list of recently retired Australian players and then a final round where franchises can select their international import of 'marquee' player.
Stay tuned for the announcement for the order of the first round of the draft. The second round will be an exact reversal of the first round. However in corresponding rounds franchises will be subjected to random selection. Which team will be favoured with the most no.1 selections? Which team will unfortunately end up with the most last round picks? Which team will be stuck in the middle? All these questions will be answered in due course and we are sure many more will be posed.

Probably would be if you actually put him down as an option.
![]() Looks to me like that's a list of players with surnames starting with A-N with CA contracts. O-Z accidentally left out or not actually available until later?

Draft Attached as excel file.
Draft Order: Round 1: Hobart Sydney Brisbane Melbourne Adelaide Perth Round 2: Perth Adelaide Melbourne Brisbane Sydney Hobart All CEOs will have 24 hours to post the player they select. The next CEO will have 24 from the time a selection is made by the previous CEO. If a CEO misses a deadline they can post their selection at any time. If the same player is selected simultaneously by two managers, the time posted on the forum (and the order of posts) will be the decider as to who gets the player. Hobart CEO Luffy has 24 hours to make his first selection. He will be followed by Sydney manager Blewy. |

I'm assuming it's as PEWS has stated, the CA contracted players from A-N are being selected first, if not, please advise and i'll change my choice.
EDIT: Scrap that, I won't change my choice anyway. Hobart are going to make a controversial decision and pick Phillip Hughes for the first pick. Last edited by luffy; 09-08-2009 at 01:34 AM. |

Kyle, I'm interested to know if you are using vc4 and if u are using t20 stats to sim the t20 games? Might want to re-consider that imo as bowlers strike rates are usualy ridiculous and you'll have games where bowlers take 7 and 8 for none and teams get bowled out really cheaply.
