Greatest English football XI

BoyBrumby

Englishman
This guy IMO.

Biased mind, but early 90's, was ace
Great player on his day who could've solved our left-sided problems if he'd kept his head out of his arse for longer. I remember him getting a hat-trick at Highbury when Manure turned us over 6-2 in the League Cup, back before it was a reserve/youth-team comp. 1990/91 from memory.

Tom Halsey

International Coach
This guy IMO.

Yes, good shout, though even if he hadn't gone off the rails, he was always going to have to move from United to really fulfil his potential IMO, due to Giggs. Forced to play left back or on the right too often.

such a waste was lee Sharpe, he was a superb player, if only he could have stayed on the straight and narrow and not pissed of Sir Alex. Was a gun on Fifa96 as well.

Isn't attack first @ defense second sort of a trait in the tradition of Brazilian full-backs. Roberto Carlos defensive woes were exposed a great deal in the final stages of his Brazil & Madrid career but at his best he was by no means woeful when defending.

makes no sense whatsoever.

No Ronaldinho for Brazil, but Messi for Argentina. INteresting.
Messi could very well & make an All-time Argentina XI when his career is over, but Ronaldinho not making the final cut shows what class Brazil have had in their ranks over the years..
