Yeah, but what Smith meant (I think) was that the game is short of specialist strikers and specialist midfielders but has many guys that do both ok ie Attacking midfielder. It is a heavily subscribed area.

Yeah, I agree with Smith. There is no reason why you cant complain. I see differences, for example I was the one that gave out some general information but it hadnt been asked for or requested and Im picking last (with the Swell), so its not like Im trying to get him to sign up a certain way to help my team.

If you dont like it, then feel free to make it more official and direct it to Blewy. Im not saying you are wrong, you may have a case. Though to me, yours was far more calculated and the product of a discussion with the team about to pick you up.

Tharmi advised you for his own personal gain, whereas neither me nor Goughy did that. I'm fairly sure that we're nowhere near next choice and in any case, Central would certainly decline him, and I have a feeling Swell would do the same.

There's been a load of conjecture over the past few weeks trying to improve the standard of the league and the ability of strikers and midfielders in comparison to defenders and keepers, and having people sign up (after the youth academy as well) with stats like that is essentially begging to be auto-benched, which isn't what we want.

Agreed there, but for such situations we should have a panel(not captains of each team) to advise the n00b what his possible options are so he just doesn't get benched.

In all honesty, it really wasnt meant as advice. Just a general comment and statement. I certainly have nothing to gain by advising someone at this stage.

TBH, it doesnt matter to me what he signs up as. It was just a comment on the large numbers of AM's rather than any attempt to get him to change.

I can't make sense of your post but I'll say this. I had no real problem with you editing your stats before you were picked up by a club, I had a problem with the way Tharmi went about it for his own personal gain.

Neither I or Kev spoke to Lezama (I barely even said anything to him, really) with the intention of making our squads better. My intentions here are to make the league better.

No Justin, Your case was totally different...

Tharmi made a clear cut statement that if you changed your stats to such and such then he would accept you at North... Both Kev and Daniel have just made a comment about the position that Don signed up with and as both have said neither of them are in the line to pick up someone from the Draft anyway..
