He is the greatest allrounder in the world and all, but I'm not really sure that Flintoff is the 14th best bowler in the world.

But then-I look at the ones immediately beneath him and realise that, if they're up there, maybe he deserves to be 14th

For every game in the time he's out he'll drop 1% - but I'm not sure how many games they have scheduled in the next 4 months?

A bowler who's out cannot maintain his rating, it has to slowly subside.

1% does that fairly, as even missing 5 games won't cost that many points.

so if a player who is ranked top gets injured and is out of the game for 2 years, he should keep his top ranking then just because of what he did before his injury

Shane Warne hasn't too badly for somebody who was suspended for 12 months.

India is the one place he hasn't done well in, although to be fair to Warne he was injured/or back from injury and like they say if Warne doesn't break the world record there, then he never will.

I hope in the name of God he gets the world record in India.
Otherwise poor Murali will be forced to stay away for even longer (may be) !!!
