That's an outstanding knock from Munro, 103 runs and 36 from the batsmen at the other end. Might be close to some sort of record?

Serious 100 from Munro, he had to be dropped from Black Caps to get him firing and excited again. Good strong celebration to go with it.

This is really turning into the sort of game that rewards you for watching all day. Chapman playing a very mature hand trying to get Auckland home. Can hear the excitement and desperation in Craig Cumming's voice.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
All on Chapman now to try and get Auckland the win. Which would be really good for his Blackcaps future

why hasn't bacon bowled?
Don't think he's allowed to as he was a concussion sub for Rutherford. Seems pretty bizarre to bring a specialist bowler in for a top order batsman, but he was designated 12th man and they likely couldn't get an actual batsman at short notice

Hang on a second, he has bowled now.

Don't have a clue then

What an utterly mediocre 4000th post

Well done Auckland. Kitchen and Foxcroft have bowled really well in white ball cricket this season, but got pretty smashed today.

Really needs to be better coverage of the Ford Trophy. The final is a great game almost every year, and it happens right throughout the comp as well. And it's been like that ever since I started watching in the early-90s ... something about it just brings out some really close exciting matches. I hope we see some round robin matches and the semi with Spark.

Pretty poor crown turn around for the game. Auckland no good.. The super smash finals at Basin was buzzing. There were very good players on show come on Auckland.

Maybe should have bowled Rae or Bacon again rather than giving Foxcroft an over to Chapman. Superb innings by him to close it out. Ben Horne played a gem too coming in and playing shots.

Otago must be rueing not having Phillips as 12th man.

Jamieson again looks to have a bit of attitude. Seemed to sledge Duffy after he hit him into the service station carpark.
