Nice to see Markram get a few runs in the A game against a spin heavy attack. Saha got runs too, so hopefully that puts pressure on Pant to actually justify his spot in the team going forward, since he wouldnt actually have replaced Saha in the first place if not for injury.

Yep, good to see Saha, Gill and Nair getting runs for us. Pant needs to go back and work on his game a bit, he's turning into an even hackier Suresh Raina.

Kohli looked in good touch as always but how good were those sixes from Rohit? Glorious.

3 great catches last night from Kohli, Jadeja and Miller and no one bats an eyelid. Fielding’s come so far.

    100 up for Markram.

Also great to see some old fashioned digging in and I will not give my wicket away attitude from Mulder.

Against Kuldeep and Nadeem too. Good spinners both.

Markram ended up with a 160, Mulder with 130+ not out. Good news, for SA cricket future.

Mulder you'd think would have forced himself into the XI which is very good to see. From the limited viewings I've had he seems to possess an excellent temperament, which is as relevant as technique imo (in terms of transitioning to test cricket)

Elgar, Markram, De Bruyn, Faf, Bavuma, De Kock, Mulder, Philander, Rabada, Maharaj, Piedt

    Is that most likely?

Unfortunately Mulder has not been selected for the Test touring squad... we are hoping he will be added. Almost definitely going to be added into the SA summer for the English tour.

Elgar, Markram, Hamza, De Bruyn, Faf, Bavuma, De Kock, Philander/Piedt, Rabada, Maharaj, Piedt/Ngidi... depending on exact conditions.
