Looks like Afghanistan will now go three months without cricket, but they do have a match at Voorburg, Netherlands in late July, so hopefully they get some internationals scheduled around that.

They were actually meant to tour Pakistan straight after this game but that series has been delayed indefinitely for obvious reasons. I was hoping they'd move it to the UAE but alas no.

Disappointing result, but perhaps not surprising given the toughness of the tour and missing a couple of guys. Shehzad the difference, really - well, the one thing that prevented the match from being a contest. Definitely deserved the MOTM.

Any highlights reels anywhere?

Would Afghanistan make a more potent Test team than Ireland ATM. they seem to have amore varied bowling attack, but Ireland are very strong i the batting department.
