Has to be Gooch and Kirsten. How is Slater ahead?
Gooch retired Feb 1995, so didn't play half the decade. Therefore, not sure he deserves to be classed as a "1990s player" even though he was stella from 1990 to 1993.

Slats averaged about 46 during the '90s. form really only dropped off after 2000. great player when playing well

Taylor and Gooch. Gooch 's early 90s peak was easily the best of all the ones mentioned, so he gets in easily, and Taylor's slip fielding and captaincy provides a great bonus to his already great batting.

Gooch and Saeed Anwar imo

Andrew Hudson was a decent player too

imagine if Waugh was made captain when Taylor was, would have broke some serious records
Probably would have notched up more victories overall, but they might not have developed into such a great side as when Waugh took over in '99 if not for Taylor's influence.

Waugh wasn't a bad captain at all, but Taylor's comfortably the best Aussie skipper I can remember.

Once again, Saeed Anwar being tragically underrated. Had he played in the 2000s, would have easily averaged over 50. Should check how highly the mighty Aussies of the late 90s rated him.

The normal awards that everyone else has
Anwar and Gooch, just. Gooch might've only played half, but he made a ****load of runs.

I'm a Tubby Taylor fan, big time. So close with the captaincy and 1st slipping thrown in.
