Lyon does seem to be like a good bloke. But more the point, he happens to be a very good bowler.

112 wickets at 32.99 (SR = 65,63) doesn't sound brilliant, but it would be as good, if not better than most spinners that have played Test cricket. For example, Prasanna's average was 30.38 and his SR was 75.94.
