In curling, the thrower lunges on ice skates to propel object at target. Why not in cricket do they do the same with ice skates?

Why not have 4 batsman on iceskates skating between 4 wickets on a diamond shaped ice-wicket? Bowlers would propel a curling (or whatever it's called) along the ice-wicket at the batsman who would attempt to hit it with a giant hockey stick. That would work. We could call it 'Curlet',
