It is so brutal how you managed to jinx Irfan.
:D While I was doing that post, I was thinking my comment may jinx JP.

Tough on Irfan. Certainly looked strong in his 2nd spell and in his short 3rd spell. Possibly too many overs bowled in a 2 and a bit sessions due to only 4 bowlers.

Was definitely a surprise to me that they decided the ideal time to recall Irfan was the exact same Test they dropped Hafeez from.

Amla though WAG... Best in the world by some distance imo

Why did Faf come in after Duminy? Surely Faf being in the team and doing well meant it should have been duminy at 7. Bit of a demotion for Faf.

Well, a couple of reasons. Firstly, Faf has only passed 50 once in his last eight innings, which is particularly concerning in a career only spanning eleven innings. Secondly, they really seem to like him at seven anyway. Fresh after saving his team's arse in Adelaide, they batted Dean Elgar on debut ahead of him in the next Test and left him at seven. Some sort of tactical reasoning behind that so Duminy was always going to bat six here IMO.

Babar has bowled superbly this spell which is the first spell I've ever seen from him. Hopefully the tail doesn't wag here, I'm on team Pakistan's side this game.

The best thing about Robbie P making runs is that if you'd never seen him play before or looked at his record, you could very easily be conned into thinking he was a proper international specialist batsman. It's nothing like that Steyn innings he played at Perth for example or even watching someone like Broad or Starc make runs. He looks like a batsman when he's making runs; it's glorious when it happens.
