FC averages of 50 & 25ish make him an ill version of the h4x ICC spinners.

T20 is a bit tougher. Shane Watson. Destructive batting and yet more bowling - at domestic level he should be gun.

FC team still feels a batsman short - should have grabbed a specialist rather than Ansari, though there aren't many available who are more suited to a slot in that FC team than Croft would be. Oh well.

Sooooo many bowling options in the T20 side. I'd get rid of Davies and play Croft somewhere.

Will give those who's time is up their chance to pick.

Theegyptian – Jonathan Trott, Steven Finn, Eoin Morgan, Ben Stokes, Simon Kerrigan, Michael Lumb, Darren Stevens, Alfonso Thomas, Phil Jaques, Chris Wright, Alan Richardson, Wayne Madsen, Reece Topley, Gareth Batty, Phil Mustard, Rory Burns, AB De Villiers, Chris Gayle

4 day - Lumb, Jaques, Madsen(C), Trott, De Villiers(wk), Morgan, Stokes, Thomas, Kerrigan, Finn, Richardson
40 over - Lumb, Mustard(wk), Trott, De Villiers(C), Morgan, Stevens, Stokes, Thomas, Batty, Finn, Wright
20 over - Mustard(wk), Gayle, Lumb, De Villiers(C), Morgan, Stevens, Stokes, Thomas, Batty, Finn, Topley

I think the overall squad I have brought together has a good blend of young and experienced, longer form and shorter form and a good range of options for different conditions and cover in case of injury.

The 4 day team has come together nicely. The top 4 are all very solid options who should lay a good foundation for the more attacking next 3 to attack and play their natural game. Michael Lumb since moving from Hampshire has added a great deal more consistency to his 4 day game(averaging 40 last year and 50+ this year in the first division) and will grind the runs out. Madsen too has been prolific in a weak batting team and is currently the leading runscorer in first division cricket. Eoin Morgan is the one question mark in the top 7. He's very rarely put it together in first class cricket in recent years but much of that may come from not having a long run at first class cricket. I'd start of with him and if his form didn't impress Darren Stevens or Rory Burns could come in. Finn, Richardson and Kerrigan were all easy choices. Finn offers pace and junkability (the ability to take wickets with junk), Richardson is a workhorse who know English conditions well and is always at the very top of the wickets chart, and Kerrigan can bowl lots of overs and bowl teams out in the second innings. Thomas gets in because of his batting (and the lack of batting in the rest of the tail) although he is becoming more injury prone by the day.

There isn't much of a difference between the t20 and yb40 teams. They both have immensely powerful and talented top 7's with some of the very best players in the world in different positions (Trott, De Villiers, Morgan, Gayle). There are powerful hitters at the top to make use of the powerplays and world class finishers in the middle. The bowling isn't quite as distinguished but also has tremendous experience and class. Thomas has played everywhere and is a brilliant death bowler. Finn is fast and destructive. Batty a canny operator. Topley is developing and awkward to play whilst giving the team a left armer option.

We have 3 wicketkeepers - De Villiers, Mustard and Burns
    2 spinners - Kerrigan, Batty
A left arm fast bowler - Topley
2 quick bowlers - Finn, Wright
3 allrounders who give the team a good balance - De Villiers, Stokes, Stevens

The possible weaknesses - A decent spinning option from the batsmen - Would have liked Moeen Ali or Chris Nash but they were taken in one pick. Mustard's keeping is kind of average; De Villiers has a bad back and Burns hasn't really kept that much recently. Not many of the bowlers can bat- this may leave the batsmen left with them stranded a little.

Sorry guys, am away travelling. Will post my pick and team overview shortly. Actually is it my pick ?? If yes:

Brendon McCullam to give me a specialist T20 bat. Highest run scorer and most T20i hundreds of all time. Not bad.

    FC:
    Alastair Cook
    Sam Robson
    Luke Wells
    James Taylor
    Ashwell Prince
    Craig Kieswetter
    David Willey
    Vernon Philander
    Chris Jordan
    Dean Cosker
    Michael Hogan

Obvious weakness is spin, but my rationale is that 4 pacemen who all differ from each other plus a solid option with over 500 FC wickets should be more than enough for most county attacks. If a pitch looks flat Crook/Collingwood in for Prince is a real possibility. Rankin vs Jordan is form dependent.

    List A:
    Alastair Cook
    Craig Kieswetter
    Dawid Malan
    James Taylor
    Ashwell Prince
    David Willey
    Steven Crook
    Vernon Philander
    Boyd Rankin
    Dean Cosker
    Michael Hogan

Really happy with this team, as Cosker is an under-appreciated List A tweaker and i have 5 quality seam options and 7 good bats. Good mix of innings builders and boundary hitters as well. Prince narrowly beat out Collingwood, and if i get a good start he drops behind Willey and Crook.

    T20
    Alastair Cook
    Craig Kieswetter
    Brendon McCullam
    Dawid Malan
    James Taylor
    David Willey
    Steven Crook
    Vernon Philander
    Azeem Rafiq
    Michael Hogan
    Dean Cosker

Happy with this side, powerful batting line-up that bats deepish as well. Two good T20 spinners, 4 good seamers.
