Alphabet teams

If we created the all time greatest team for each letter of the alphabet, who would win?

To create a team the player needs to have any one of their predominantly used names starting with a letter. WPUJC Vaas would be able to be in the 'V' team or the 'W' team as the 'W' is for his first name and the 'V' is for his last name. We should forget middle names for this excercise.

Allan Border would therefore be a candidate for the 'A' and 'B' teams, but not the 'R' team, even though his middle name begins with 'R'.

My current thoughts is that the 'B' team and the 'W' teams would both be very strong.

I love this sort of thing.

I would look at Arthur Morris, Saeed Anwar and Dennis Amiss in front of both of your openers.

Would take Les Ames as the 'keeper instead of Stewart.

Like my bowling attack better, but your batting line-up is gold. Forgot about Sutcliffe TBH

Now that team would be very hard to beat. Really have a rich plethora of openers available as well, with Haynes and Hayden both sitting on the bench.
