BARNES OUT
Will need to score some runs first.I think Daniel Christian is a smokey for a batting all rounder spot in future ODI and Tewnty20 squads.

David Hussey has to be there in the Aussie set-up, no matter whether Symonds comes back or not, he is very good batsman to have in the middle order, can keep the scoreboard moving and can play the big shots too, his bowling though is a bit too overrated, i mean if Australia are planning to squeeze out the 5th bowler' overs out of Dussey and Clarke, then they asking for trouble, in some conditions they might get away with it, but on flat decks they would get spanked, having said that Dussey's off-spin is a lot better suited to ODI' and T20' compared to Symonds' off-spin.Assuming Clarke is the next batsman to regain fitness, I reckon he should come in for White. D Hussey offers a better all-round package. At least, Ponting seems to think so.
Its not like they did it for the first time, expect for the 3rd ODI, that pretty much has been the team combination right through the series.Yup, very surprised they picked a team today that required 10 overs minimum from D Hussey, White and M Hussey.
Topped my bowling averages for Lancs on ICC one time itbt, must be gunYeah, a bit. Probably get away with four or five overs.
When Clarke and Symonds come in there is no room for D. Hussey, as harsh as it may be. You can't fit Ponting, Clarke, Symonds, M & D Hussey into the top 6, perhaps if you had M. Hussey at 7 it could be accommodated, but that's a spot better left to an allrounder, be it a bowling or batting one. He's a good reserve atm, but as has been shown this series, we've really missed our first XI.David Hussey has to be there in the Aussie set-up, no matter whether Symonds comes back or not, he is very good batsman to have in the middle order, can keep the scoreboard moving and can play the big shots too, his bowling though is a bit too overrated, i mean if Australia are planning to squeeze out the 5th bowler' overs out of Dussey and Clarke, then they asking for trouble, in some conditions they might get away with it, but on flat decks they would get spanked, having said that Dussey's off-spin is a lot better suited to ODI' and T20' compared to Symonds' off-spin.
I love it how performances on ICC = being gun in real life, even if you haven't seen them play a lot.Topped my bowling averages for Lancs on ICC one time itbt, must be gun
I'd actually prefer I had a keeper there, unless we're going a bowler short againWhen Clarke and Symonds come in there is no room for D. Hussey, as harsh as it may be. Lol! Was thinking this just after I posted. Haddin is forgotten though, given his poor returns of late with the bat.I'd actually prefer I had a keeper there, unless we're going a bowler short again
I am not sure Symonds should be back, but that's a different matter all together, anyways this would be my XI even if Symonds comes back into the side, given everyone is fit. When Clarke and Symonds come in there is no room for D. Haha, good one, was about to say this when the whole Mussey, Dussey thing started, good thing indeed that none of Hussey bros have a name starting with a "P".I'm just glad the Husseys don't have a brother named Peter.
