I really don't understand why Tendulkar is in the middle of such a clamour for taking retirement. After all, he had only a bad series!!!

So you've built a whole thread on one 'misnomer' which can still be debated? I don't think you quite understand why Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman and Ganguly are, or were, referred to as the 'Big 4'.
