Good move. Bashar needs to go and Ashraful needs to grow up.
What if Ashraful doesn't grow-up?

I can't see this move working very well, especially with how immature Ashraful is with his batting. Bashar was one of the best Test batsman (if not the best) that Bangladesh have had, and it's a shame to see him go like this. I doubt he'll be selected as a specialist bat, especially in the ODI's.

Why not go straight to Mortaza? Seems an infinately better candidate to me, even though he's a bowler.
Ashraful was the VC though; Mortaza will be the stabilizing factor for him I guess.
why is it that most captains are batsmen? the only captaions I can recall being bolwer was shaun pollock and streak, any other in recent times?
was the like full time or as back up? but is there any particular reason for batsmen being cpatians over bowlers?
