if you develop your domestic game properly then you create the players to cover those injuries - this is what the Aussies have done....if you don't you are always hostage to talent & timimg, rather than taking control of your destiny etc.....
just on population alone England should have more / better 'talent' available than OZ - it's what you do with it once you find it that matters! The Academy set up is only another part of the puzzle, as is the domestic competition, tactics etc....
