There have been 1000s of players who have improved against spin over the years. Yuvraj Singh was rubbish against spin when he first came in, Ponting has certainly gotten better over the years than when he first started, and there are plenty of other examples, heck even Foster went from being impotent to quite decent against spin by the end of the India tour. To say that no one can improve against spin is like saying no one can get better at anything. AFAIC, many players learn to play with soft hands and to use their wrists. Players arent just born into being good players of spin.
And I didn't say no-one has improved - people aren't born to bat, it's all a question of what you learn. Sometimes, however, once you pass a certain stage of your career - there's no way to say exactly when that might be - some things are ingrained and just can't be changed no matter how hard you and your coaches try. For every example you name of someone who got better there's probably one for someone who didn't.
