By all accounts his 232 was a great knock, but it was against SA, the minnows of the era.
Sorry to pick you up again mate (I am not trying to find fault:laugh: ), but the innings that Bradman told his team-mates to come and watch was during the 1938 tour of England. The innings you speak of in Sth Afr was a series in which Bradman stayed in Aust. to recover from appendicitis (spelling) after the 1934 trip to England:)

You're thinking of his 189* against SA in 1935/36, when his batting was so ferocious the opposing captain actually appealed against the light to protect his fieldsmen!

The 232 was on Australia's 1938 tour of England.

And let's not forget his 187* against Bodyline in 1932/33.
