SL are at the top at the moment but i don't see how they can do well in SA, Murali for one would be ineffective.
Which other team do you think would fail in SA?

Murali can spin the ball on a bloody cemented pitch....you are wrong buddy about Murali being ineffective in SA.Murali for one would be ineffective
I am skeptic about this, because i have heard this about wasim so many times before, in his career and he's always disappointed his discreditors. For Pakistans sake he must have a good World cup. There is no wisdom in not playing all three of them, what do you base that on ??? why not play the threee of them, together they still are a big threat to batting line ups.Talking of Wasim - I will yet again say that Pakistan should not play all 3 of Shoaib, Waqar and Wasim, and I would personally get rid of Wasim - he's past it in my opinion.
But when the attack is running through line ups who needs variety ?I don't think you get enough variety in an attack that contains 3 pace bowlers - I'd rather go for someone with a bit less pace, who also makes the big hits harder to make.

I think the sub-continent sides will be the most adversely affected ones, as others have said.

If variety is all one wants then India seems to be one that has it, they go in with two pacers, a specialits offbreak bowler and a specialist leggie!
Pakistan will be playing in Africa (SA and Zimb) for three months just before the World cup, i don't think adaptation can be a problem for them.Originally posted by Eclipse
India Sri Lanka and Pakistan will have the most trouble adapting I would say mostly India but they should get over it after a few games.

Expect Murali to take 30 wickets in the Tournament after that comment! That seems to be the case on every player we criticise on here!11 wkts in 13 matches in SA and at a very high ave of 31+, thats what Murali's figures read, very ordinary indeed!
